Is it a good time to get into Chinese Stocks?

I have a strong position in BABA and Tencent. I want to increase my position in Tencent with their recent news in building a smart city, increased equity in EV, and increase in mobile gamers (esports). However, I recognize their advertising revenues would diminish during the following year as enterprises scale back on their marketing. Then again, I sold GOOG with the same mentality and got burnt in the process.

What do you think about Tencent at these price levels? Also, what do you think about China’s public market in general and how connected are their markets to the US (say in the event of a US recession)?
