Hello guys!

A little bit about me:

I live in Montreal

McGill University Sophomore (soon to be Junior)

Major in Accounting, Concentration in finance

GPA: 3.7/4.0

Involved in two school organizations

Completed an internship in Public Accounting (PwC)

Unfortunately, my Summer 2020 internship was canceled 🙁

My question:

I would like to switch from public accounting to investment banking or private equity and wanted to know if I have any chances? (I will be applying to internships in Toronto and New York) If I do what should I do to maximize my chances of being taken. Since I have a lot of free time this summer, I am taking summer classes and actively practicing my financial modeling skills!
