Dollar Stores

Posts Hey Everyone,
What’s your guys thoughts on “Dollar Stores” such as Dollar Tree and Dollar General. These stocks have traditionally done better when the consumer is worse off. Even if the stock market is nearing all time high, unemployment is at historic levels and there will be GDP contraction so I do believe that these companies should be able to capitalize on the economic turmoil that consumers will face.
I really like Dollar General. Really well-run company out of Nashville that took share from the last recession. It is generally probably the better choice between the two. Doesn’t look crazy valuation wise too.
