I believe a big component of understanding how to invest in growth companies is absorbing how Silicon Valley-style venture capital (“VC”) firms think. It’s understanding the importance of leadership teams, unit economics, addressable market sizes, and how it’s all about execution.
As of this morning, the Big Board portfolio is up 59% over the five months since we started it (in earnest) in August.
